Eat, Shop, Love

Eat, Shop, Love was designed to capture the unique spirit of H Mart in Manhattan by incorporating iconic elements of New York City.

Just like Starbucks mugs or T-shirts featuring NYC landmarks, goods with a strong local identity are especially popular among customers visiting Manhattan. Recognizing this market potential, I designed this piece to reflect both the character of New York and the cultural presence of H Mart.

In this design, I reimagined the Statue of Liberty with a distinct New Yorker attitude, and incorporated the “Big Apple”—a nickname for Manhattan—into the visual. The apple motif features H Mart’s signature red color and logo, tying the city’s identity to the brand in a playful and memorable way.

한아름 Han Ah Reum

This design was created to move away from H Mart’s traditionally older and more formal image, and instead appeal to a younger audience through a refreshed, playful brand identity.

H Mart Skyline

This design uses the Manhattan skyline to visually represent H Mart’s presence in the heart of the city.
It highlights iconic New York landmarks to remind customers that our stores are located in one of the most special and vibrant parts of Manhattan.

The design features a minimal line-drawing style, making it stylish and easy to wear—striking a balance between a souvenir and everyday fashion.

At the bottom of the design, I included a brand identity statement taken from the newly launched H Mart Manhattan website, further reinforcing the store’s unique character and voice.

H Mart in 8-bits

This design presents a pixelated visual interpretation of H Mart, reimagined in a playful, low-resolution aesthetic.
The concept involves recreating both the H Mart storefront and surrounding Manhattan architecture in pixel form to create a charming, nostalgic look.

At this stage, the design focuses primarily on H Mart itself; iconic New York landmarks have not yet been added due to the time required for detailed pixel work.
However, if this design moves forward into production, I plan to incorporate recognizable Manhattan buildings to further strengthen the local identity of the piece.

K-Food Expert Test

This design features a playful quiz-style layout under the title “K-Food Expert Test,” with a series of fun questions that add an interactive and lighthearted touch.
Inspired by the popular Korean “Do you know~” meme, the concept invites viewers to test their knowledge of Korean food culture in a humorous way.
At the bottom, the phrase “authorized by H Mart Manhattan” reminds the wearer that this is an official piece of H Mart Manhattan merchandise.
